Building works commenced on 2 October 2014, with alterations of the existing building requiring numerous modifications for disabled access throughout the building complete with disabled amenities. Additional works required, include modifying play rooms and installing further amenities for the children. A new purpose built industrial kitchen has been designed to cater for all cooking requirements, these facilities will be used daily by the Chef/Cook when preparing the children’s daily meals that have been designed by Susan Williams of Zest Nutrition Consulting Pty Ltd, and menu plans will be available and posted at a later date.
All building works are in accordance with the Building Code of Australia.
